The boardshorts were designed and developed through a collaborative process between Quiksilver x the Standard Hotel. Deisgn and concepts focused on a shared passion for thoughtful, detail-oriented design and a belief that style isn't about exclusivity or trends, but about honesty, authenticity, and above all else, comfort. The designs were a   distinctive nod to Quiksilver's retro scalloped leg silhouette - updated and modernized with the latest Diamond Dobby fabric innovation - showcasing its versatility not only as a functional, performance fabrication but also as a fashion forward design element. The four custom designed boardshorts correspond to each hotel's location - each with its relevant color palette and list of local hotspots and must-see art, music, and food destinations printed on the interior waistband. Packaged in a waterproof travel bag, the boardshorts were available for purchase at custom vending machines at each of the properties poolside experiences.
