Overview:
Forden Studio partnered with the Pacific Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium (PNOC ) producing an invite-only benefit event to raise awareness and funds for the PNOC mission.
The event - titled Non Verbal Communication - was designed as an intimate, immersive experience inspired by the power of a showing empathy through gesture. A live exhibition of featured ceramicist Patrick Johnston crafting pottery synched to a live musical performance. The pieces were auctioned off with the opportunity to personalize the artwork by hugging the pot. The event also included guest speakers and a silent auction of donated items and experiences from the French Laundry, Pasjoli, LA Lakers, Den Mother, and the Elder Statesman.
Attendance was 75 guests with donations reaching $15,000. This exceeded the non-PNOC led fundraising benchmark by $10K.
