Overview

For the brand’s first flagship location in Venice, the concept addressed two objectives - distillation of the brand’s guiding principles - safety, education, and efficacy - evolving them into an approachable brand experience, and secondly, redefine the cannabis retail and customer experience. With the legalization of cannabis attracting a new customer base - including first time users and wellness enthusiasts – the retail experience aimed to shift the paradigm around cannabis- creating a space where customers are given permission to consider dosist as a functional wellness tool for their individual needs. An ivy covered open-air pergola entryway serves as a calming, transitional moment leading to an outdoor concierge. French doors open to an elevated yet approachable interior - designed as a storytelling platform to champion the brand and its product offering. Walls of cream colored vertical wood slats reflect the brand’s promise of a repeatable product experience and are spaced at 2.25” – the same size as the dose the pen administers. Custom shelving units accented by bold colors organize products according to the brand’s formulas – each as a unique moment inclusive of informative, interactive elements. An indoor garden, vitrines and bespoke millwork - featuring limestone surfaces and soft curves - mirror the dose pen and add an element of softness to the space. Trained sales associates help bring the brand to life - tasked with instilling trust and confidence in the brand - offering guided product experiences and personal consultations in a private courtyard.
